How this service works
PPC keyword research
Output
Returns PPC keyword metrics from SpyFu including estimated cost-per-click, monthly search volume, number of advertisers bidding, competition score, and historical ad performance data for the queried keyword.
Example use cases
Plan Google Ads budget for startup
“I'm launching a Google Ads campaign for our new CRM tool. Can you pull the PPC data for keywords like 'CRM software', 'customer relationship management tool', and 'sales management platform'? I need to understand the cost-per-click and competition level so I can figure out our monthly ad spend.”
Identify undervalued keywords for bidding
“We're a marketing agency trying to find low-cost opportunities in the digital marketing space. Look up PPC metrics for 'content marketing services', 'SEO agency', and 'paid search management' — I want to spot keywords with decent search volume but lower competition or CPC than we'd expect.”
Analyze competitor ad spending strategy
“I want to understand what keywords our main competitors are bidding on and how much they're probably spending. Can you get the SpyFu data for the top 10 keywords in the fitness app space? Show me the advertiser counts, cost-per-click, and search volume so we can figure out where to focus our paid search efforts.”

Reviews
This PPC keyword research capability delivers inconsistent results across 25 reviews, with a success rate of only 52% and average accuracy, value, and reliability scores hovering around 2.6–2.7 out of 5. Occasional top scores of 5/5 suggest the service can perform well, but frequent 1/5 ratings and a high failure rate indicate significant reliability issues. Overall sentiment skews negative, making this a risky choice for production PPC workflows.
