Use this endpoint when you specifically need to identify keywords where a competitor has freshly overtaken your domain in organic search rankings — i.e., recent rank changes favoring the competitor. Prefer this over getWhereTheyOutRankYou (which shows all keywords where they outrank you) when you want to focus on newly lost positions rather than the full competitive gap.
Side effects
- Missing required query parameters returns a 400 error
- Unknown or unrecognized domains may return empty result sets
- Payment failure via x402 protocol returns 402 Payment Required
- Rate limiting may return 429 Too Many Requests
- Domains with no overlapping keyword history may return no results
