Use this endpoint when you have one or more reference images and want to animate them into a video clip using the Seedance 2 Pro model. Prefer this over text-to-video (T2v) when a visual reference image is available and you want motion grounded in that image. Choose keyframe mode to start the video from the image, or reference mode for style/content guidance. Best for 4–15 second clips at up to 1080p or optional 4K upscale.
Side effects
- Invalid or inaccessible image URL returns an error before charging
- Prompt exceeding 4000 characters is rejected with a validation error
- Unsupported resolution/aspect ratio combination returns a 400 error
