Tanod agentscan – MCP Server Health Check is a paid API for AI agents from tanod.dev, paid per call via x402, $0.005/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-12).
Probes a remote MCP server to check its availability, identity, TLS certificate, supported tools, authentication requirements, and latency.
agentscan (Tanod) MCP server check: answers, name, version, sign-in, tools, latency, TLS expiry of a remote MCP server. Use when an agent must check that a remote MCP server is up, what it is and whi…
Returns a JSON object containing: overall status (ok/error), whether the server answers, HTTP status code, transport type (streamable-http or SSE), protocol version, server name/title/version as reported by the server, tool count and tool names, authentication requirements and OAuth metadata, TLS certificate validity and days until expiry, total round-trip time in ms, latency in ms, and a timestamp of when the check was performed.
POSThttps://tanod.dev/v1/mcp/check?utm_source=zero.xyzUse this endpoint when an AI agent needs to verify a remote MCP server's availability, discover its tools, inspect its authentication model, or check TLS certificate health before integrating or routing traffic to it. It is the right choice specifically for MCP protocol endpoints (not general HTTP APIs or websites) and when you need structured metadata about the server's identity and capabilities, not just a raw ping.
