Use this endpoint when you need a structured, classified breakdown of all hyperlinks on a public webpage — especially when you care about link types (internal vs external vs mailto/tel), rel attributes (nofollow, sponsored, etc.), or anchor text. Prefer it over generic scrapers when link taxonomy and rel flags matter. If you also need to verify link reachability, enable the check flag. Not suited for full-site crawls — this operates on a single page at a time.
Side effects
- URL is not a publicly accessible HTML page (returns error)
- Page requires authentication or returns 4xx/5xx (cannot fetch)
- Page has no links (empty results list)
- URL exceeds 2048 characters (validation error)
- max_links out of range 1-100 (validation error)
