Choose this endpoint when you need cryptographic proof that a computation ran correctly and was not tampered with — for example, verifying sensitive business logic, running smart contract off-chain computations, auditable data transformations, or any scenario where trust in the execution environment itself is required. It is ideal for web3, DeFi, and compliance use cases where a simple API call is insufficient because the caller needs hardware-level attestation. Prefer alternatives if you only need a plain function execution result with no attestation requirement.

• Invalid or malformed code payload — execution fails with an error describing the parse or runtime issue
• Payment not provided or insufficient USDC via x402 — returns 402 Payment Required
• TEE device unavailable or attestation failure — returns a server error indicating the secure enclave could not be provisioned
• Execution timeout — long-running computations may be killed and return a timeout error
• Unsupported runtime or language — if the payload targets an unsupported environment, returns an error
