Use this endpoint when an agent has already obtained a quote (and order ID) from the /quote endpoint on The Agents Gift Shop and needs to finalize payment and trigger physical fulfillment. This is the payment-and-fulfillment step in a two-step quote-then-pay flow, distinct from browsing, designing, or quoting. Prefer this when the agent controls a USDC wallet on Base and needs to pay autonomously via x402 without human checkout intervention.
Side effects
- Invalid or expired order ID from /quote — returns error if the order ID does not exist or has already been paid
- Insufficient USDC balance — payment via x402 fails if the agent wallet lacks funds
