Use this endpoint when an AI agent needs a structured, third-party safety gate on its own decisions or reasoning before taking action — especially in high-stakes autonomous pipelines. Prefer it over simple rule-based filters when you need a calibrated confidence score plus enumerated objections, or when you need per-agent verification history via agentId. Choose 'fast' speed for low-latency pipelines and 'deep' for critical decisions requiring thorough scrutiny.
Side effects
- Missing required 'claim' field returns 400 Bad Request
- Invalid 'speed' value not matching fast/standard/deep returns 400
- Payment not included or insufficient USDC via x402 returns 402 Payment Required
- Claim too long or malformed returns 422 Unprocessable Entity
- Service timeout on deep verification for extremely complex claims
- Unknown domain value may degrade verification quality without explicit error
