Choose this endpoint when you need official central-bank exchange rates for multiple LATAM currencies against USD in a single, low-latency call. It is especially valuable when you also need the Argentine blue-market rate and the official/blue gap in the same response. For single-currency deep dives (e.g. only PEN with buy/sell spread), prefer the dedicated sibling endpoints. For non-LATAM currencies, prefer the ECB reference rate or other regional endpoints.
Side effects
- Partial result (completo: false) when one or more upstream central-bank sources are temporarily unavailable
- Argentine blue rate may lag or be unavailable if the informal market scrape fails, while official rates still return
- Rate staleness if central banks have not published today's fix yet (e.g. outside business hours)
- Network timeout from upstream data sources causing delayed or empty response
- No currency filtering — the endpoint always returns all six currencies; granular single-currency requests require sibling endpoints
