Choose TRACE Trust Score when you need a fast, graph-aware, adversarial-resistant trust evaluation of an agent or wallet in an A2A or x402 payment context — especially when sybil and collusion-ring detection is critical and you cannot afford LLM-based latency. Prefer this over simple reputation lookups when operating in open, adversarial agent marketplaces where fake or coordinated agents may be present.
Side effects
- Invalid or missing provider_id returns a validation error
- Malformed job object (missing capability or price_usdc) causes a 400 bad request
- Unknown or unregistered wallet address may return a low-confidence or null score
- Network timeout if Azure backend is under load (rare given sub-50ms target)
- Insufficient USDC balance to cover the $0.005 per-call fee causes payment failure
