Side effects
- Unsupported asset symbol returns an error — only the 24 listed symbols (ETH, BTC, SOL, etc.) are accepted
- Missing asset parameter defaults to ETH
- Payment failure (x402) if USDC balance is insufficient for the $0.005 per-call fee
- Network timeout if on-chain data sources are temporarily unavailable
