Call it when you need current ground truth about somewhere you are about to travel, instead of guessing. Sources: OpenStreetMap, Overpass, Open-Meteo and OSRM. Rule-based, no LLM.
Output
A single JSON object containing: the geocoded coordinates and place name, a multi-day weather forecast (up to 16 days) from Open-Meteo, the driving route and total distance from the specified origin via OSRM, and categorized nearby points of interest from OpenStreetMap/Overpass including hotels, restaurants, public transport stops, ATMs, and crypto/payment locations.

Choose this endpoint when you need a single, consolidated travel intelligence package about a destination without managing multiple API keys or orchestrating separate geocoding, weather, routing, and POI calls yourself. It is ideal for pre-trip agent workflows, travel planning assistants, and any scenario where ground truth about a physical place must be assembled quickly and cheaply ($0.02/call). Prefer it over building a bespoke pipeline when the destination is a real-world place reachable by road and you want weather + route + POI in one response. Not suited for flight planning, hotel booking, or itinerary generation.
Side effects
- Destination not found or too ambiguous — geocoding returns no result
- Origin location unresolvable — route calculation fails
- Overpass API timeout for POI queries in very dense or complex areas
- Weather forecast unavailable for remote or ocean coordinates
- No driving route exists between origin and destination (e.g., island with no road connection)
- Malformed query parameters cause a 400 response
