How this service works
[SUBSCRIPTION] Pay once to mint a STATELESS signed token (HMAC - no account, no login, no session, no server-side storage). Send it as Authorization Bearer on /gauge/watch and /gauge/watch-changes to read a batch watchlist without per-call payment. Default validity 30 days. The free tier is unaffected. Priced above the default agent maxValue on purpose - minting a subscription should be a deliberate act, not an accident.
Output
A stateless HMAC-signed Bearer token (no server-side session or account required) valid for 30 days. The agent passes this token as an Authorization Bearer header on subsequent calls to /gauge/watch and /gauge/watch-changes to read batch watchlist data without additional per-call payment.

Choose this endpoint when an agent or workflow needs to call /gauge/watch or /gauge/watch-changes repeatedly over a 30-day period, making per-call payment costs prohibitive. It is ideal for batch monitoring pipelines, agent fleets, or research sessions where frequent polling is expected. Not needed for occasional one-off reads on the free tier or for endpoints outside the gauge/watch family.
Side effects
- Payment failure or insufficient USDC balance — x402 payment not accepted, no token issued
- Token expiry — token is valid only for 30 days and must be re-minted after expiration
- Malformed GET request — endpoint returns an error if required x402 payment headers are missing or malformed
