Side effects
- Source string is empty or exceeds 2000 characters — validation error
- Source is obscure or brand-new with no discoverable evidence — verdict returns 'unknown' with limited reasons
- Network or upstream data unavailability causes service to fail-closed rather than return a guess
- Invalid JSON body or missing required fields returns a 400-level error
- Payment not authorized or insufficient USDC balance causes 402 Payment Required
