It supports both major tokens by symbol (BTC, ETH, SOL) and any EVM or non-EVM token by chain:contract address or CoinGecko slug, with up to 20 tokens per call. Prefer this over real-time price feeds when the query is retrospective and the exact data timestamp matters for auditability.
Side effects
- Token not recognized returns the id in the not_found array
- Invalid date format returns an error
- Requesting more than 20 tokens at once may fail or truncate
- Contract address on wrong chain returns not_found
- Very old dates may have no data available for certain tokens
- Network timeout or upstream DefiLlama unavailability
