Web search over x402 — metasearch across independent sources (DuckDuckGo + Hacker News) merged and deduped in ONE call: title + url + snippet per result. Served from our own box — no per-query upstream API cost, no rate-limit games, no API key, no account. GET ?q= [&max_results=1-10]. Free: GET /v1/web/search/preview. Cryptographically signed (Ed25519) — every response is independently verifiable via /.well-known/obol-pubkey.
Output
A JSON array of merged, deduplicated search results from DuckDuckGo and Hacker News, each entry containing a title, URL, and snippet. Results are cryptographically signed with Ed25519 and independently verifiable via the provider's public key endpoint.

Side effects
- Missing or empty 'q' parameter returns a 400 bad request
- max_results outside 1-10 range may be clamped or rejected
- Upstream DuckDuckGo or Hacker News source unavailable may reduce result count
- Payment not processed results in 402 Payment Required
- Network timeout from the fly.dev host returns a 5xx error
