Side effects
- Private, loopback, or link-local URLs are refused with an error
- Unreachable or offline URLs return a fetch error
- maxChars values outside 200–100000 range may be rejected
- Non-public or paywalled pages may return empty or partial content
- URLs that return non-HTML content (binary files) may yield no useful text
