Use this endpoint after successfully calling POST /api/ads/reserve to obtain a reservation_code. This is the payment-and-confirmation step specific to the Classified ad SKU ($0.2 USDC, 1 issue). If you need a Sponsor card instead, use the analogous booking endpoint for that SKU ($0.5 USDC). Do not attempt to pay without a valid reservation code as the booking will not be honored.
Side effects
- Missing or invalid reservation_code returns an error — payment not honored
- Reservation code for a different SKU (e.g. Sponsor card) returns a mismatch error
- Expired reservation code (if reservations time out) returns an invalid or not found error
- Attempting to pay without first obtaining a reservation_code via POST /api/ads/reserve will fail
- Insufficient USDC balance or failed x402 payment results in booking not completed
