Use this endpoint when an agent has already obtained a reservation_code from POST /api/ads/reserve for the 3-issue Classified SKU and is ready to confirm and pay for the ad. Choose this over the 1-issue Classified booking endpoint when the advertiser wants a 3-issue run at $0.6 USDC. This is distinct from the Sponsor card booking endpoint, which covers a different ad format.
Side effects
- Missing or invalid reservation_code returns an error and the booking is not created
- Attempting to pay for a different SKU than what was reserved (e.g. 1-issue vs 3-issue) is rejected
- Payment failure or insufficient USDC balance causes the booking to fail
- Reservation code already used or expired results in a booking rejection
- Calling this endpoint without first calling POST /api/ads/reserve to obtain a reservation_code will not succeed
