Use this endpoint when a new business or developer needs to onboard to the EruditePay platform for the first time to accept x402 stablecoin payments. This is the first step in the EruditePay integration flow, required before calling any other authenticated endpoints. Prefer this over generic OAuth or account-creation flows when the downstream goal is accepting USDC/USDT payments on Base or Tron networks.
Side effects
- Missing required fields (name or email) — 400 Bad Request
- Duplicate email registration — 409 Conflict or similar error
- Invalid wallet address format — 422 Unprocessable Entity
- Payment of 0.01 USDC not provided or rejected — 402 Payment Required
