A JSON object containing the date (YYYY-MM-DD), the verse text, its scripture reference (e.g. 'John 8:12'), and the translation used (id and full name). Optionally includes the same passage in additional requested translations for side-by-side comparison.

Side effects
- Invalid date format returns an error — must use YYYY-MM-DD
- Invalid translation enum value returns an error (only bsb, web, kjv accepted)
- Invalid compare value (unrecognized translation code) may return an error or be ignored
- Payment failure (x402 protocol) prevents access if USDC not provided
