Choose this endpoint when you need to reliably parse and normalize all HTTP/HTTPS URLs embedded in arbitrary unstructured text, such as user messages, documents, or scraped content. Prefer it over regex-based approaches when you want a hosted, consistent, normalized output without writing your own parser.
Side effects
- Missing required 'text' query parameter returns an error
- No URLs found in input text returns an empty list
- Non-HTTP/HTTPS URLs (e.g., ftp://, mailto:) are not extracted
- Malformed or partial URLs may be excluded or silently skipped
- Payment failure (402) if USDC balance is insufficient
