How this service works
Smart-money whale trades on Polymarket: recent large trades by skilled (Solid or Sharp) traders only, each tagged with the trader's skill score, edge over the odds paid, return and specialty. Separates informed whales from big gamblers.
Output
A list of recent large Polymarket trades filtered to only Solid or Sharp skilled traders, each record including the trade size, the market traded, the trader's skill score, their edge over the odds paid, their return metric, and their specialty area — effectively separating informed whale activity from large but unskilled bets.
Example use cases
Spotting informed whale conviction plays
“Pull the top 10 biggest Polymarket trades from skilled traders in the last batch — I want to see which markets they're piling into, their skill scores, and how much edge they had over the market odds.”
Filtering signal from noise in prediction markets
“I want to see recent Polymarket whale trades but only from traders who are actually good — skip the gamblers. Show me 25 trades with a minimum size of $1000, along with each trader's specialty and return history.”
Building a smart-money alert feed
“Give me the latest skilled-whale trades on Polymarket so I can track what sharp money is doing in real time — I want trades of at least $200 each, up to 50 results, with skill scores and edge shown for each.”

Endpoint
GEThttps://www.x402pulse.dev/v1/skilled-whales?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you specifically want large Polymarket trades filtered by demonstrated trader skill — not just raw whale volume. It is superior to generic Polymarket trade feeds when you care about signal quality: you want to follow traders who have proven edge, not just deep pockets. Use it over leaderboard endpoints when you need the actual trade-level records rather than aggregated rankings.
Side effects
- No trades returned if minimum trade size is set too high with few qualifying skilled-whale trades in recent history
- limit parameter out of range (must be 1–50) causes validation error
- Payment failure or missing x402 payment header results in 402 response
- Stale data if the underlying Polymarket feed hasn't refreshed recently
