Use this endpoint before calling actions_enter on any gated yield (RWA, tokenized treasury, or regulated protocol) on Yield.xyz. It is the required pre-flight check to determine if a wallet can legally participate in a compliance-gated yield, and it surfaces exactly where to complete verification if the wallet is not yet cleared.
Side effects
- Invalid wallet address format — returns 400 or validation error
- Unknown yieldId — returns error indicating the yield does not exist or is not gated
- Yield is not gated and requires no KYC — may return a no-op or open status
- Network timeout or upstream KYC provider unavailability — returns 503
- Missing required fields (address or yieldId) — returns schema validation error
