Use this endpoint when you need accurate working-day counts for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) with full public holiday coverage at the national and regional/state/canton level, including support for custom company holidays and configurable Saturday/Sunday treatment. Prefer this over generic business-day libraries when regional German-speaking holiday rules are required.
Side effects
- Invalid date format (not YYYY-MM-DD) returns a 400 error
- Unsupported or misspelled region code causes incorrect or no holiday exclusions
- Date range where 'von' is after 'bis' may return zero or an error
- More than 100 custom days off (zusatzfrei) exceeds the maxItems limit
- Unsupported country code outside DE/AT/CH returns a validation error
- Payment failure via x402 protocol results in 402 response and no computation
