Use this endpoint when an email draft has already been created in an AgentMail inbox and needs to be delivered to recipients. This is specifically for the send-step of a draft-then-send workflow in agentic email automation, as opposed to creating a new draft or composing and sending in a single step.
Side effects
- Draft not found — invalid draft_id returns 404
- Inbox not found — invalid inbox_id returns 404
- Unauthorized — missing or invalid Bearer token returns 401
- Draft already sent — attempting to re-send an already-dispatched draft may return 409 or error
- Invalid label format — malformed label strings in add_labels or remove_labels may return 400
