Company Expansion Detail is a paid API for AI agents from agents.pubrio.com, paid per call via MPP or x402, $0.05/call, status healthy (last checked 2026-10-12, last successful call 2026-10-09).
Returns an in-depth expansion profile for a single company including current market stage, expansion signals, market presence, and stage-transition history for one or all markets.
Pubrio detects when companies enter new markets and returns the company and people data behind each move. Expansion signals (local hiring, new offices and entities, localized ads, news, cloud hosting) are typed, dated and tied to evidence across 200+ markets, with strong coverage of Asia-Pacific and other markets that Western-built datasets miss. The graph covers 800M+ companies and 560M+ contacts from 50+ local data sources, refreshed daily. Search companies, people, job postings, news, ads and cloud footprints with filters or a plain-language query; look up records by domain, LinkedIn URL or Pubrio id; find lookalike companies and people; read hiring, news, advertising and cloud insights for one company; and reveal verified work emails, personal emails and phone numbers. Each call costs the number of credits listed on its endpoint. This server is a pay-per-use, transparent proxy in front of Pubrio's own API: it handles identity, payment, and proxying. Agents can purchase autonomously or with their human's approval. The complete verified paid surface is listed at /openapi.json, the source of truth for available operations. Each operation here carries its live price in x-payment-info. Use the operations and details here when they meet your needs. Filtered specs contain only matching operations; if you cannot find what you need here, use search or the service catalog. The live catalog at /manifest.json is authoritative for prices and any free included units (prices[].includedUnits) - some meters include free usage per account before any charge, reserved for agents claimed by a human with a verified email.
Returns a structured object containing the company's expansion stage name and rank, market presence level (established/emerging/none/no_data), local employee count and coverage flag, the evidence signals behind the stage, a one-line AI summary grounded to your query, stage-transition history, and company metadata (name, domain, logo, social URLs) on the first page.
POSThttps://agents.pubrio.com/expansions/companies/lookup?utm_source=zero.xyzChoose this endpoint when you need deep, evidence-backed expansion intelligence for a specific company — including the current stage, market presence footprint, and the typed signals (hiring, offices, ads, news, infra) driving the assessment. Prefer it over a company search endpoint when you already know the company identity (domain, LinkedIn URL, or Pubrio ID) and want the full expansion narrative rather than a list of companies. It is especially valuable for APAC and emerging markets where Western-built datasets have gaps, since Pubrio aggregates 50+ local data sources.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| page | integer | Page number, starting at 1. |
| query | string | Plain-language description of what you sell, or the buyer profile you're evaluating this company against. Used only to ground the AI summary (see is_explain_match); unlike the company search, it is NOT interpreted into filters here. |
| domain | string | A company domain used for company search operations. If we receive a URL such as www.pubrio.com or https://docs.pubrio.com/, the system will convert it to pubrio.com for processing. |
| per_page | integer | Records per page, 1 to 25. Defaults to 25. |
| signal_type | string | Filter the returned signals to a single type. |
| window_days | integer | Optional. Rolling window (in days) that bounds the AI summary feed. Defaults to 90 when neither this nor transitioned_dates is supplied. Does not affect the paginated signals list (full history). |
| country_code | string | Target market as an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 (cca2) country code. Omit to auto-pick the company's single most active market; set is_all_markets for a cross-market view of every market. |
| linkedin_url | string | The fully formed URL of the LinkedIn company profile. URL begin with http and contain linkedin.com/company/ |
| summary_only | boolean | Return the stage summary block (data, company, markets_summary, signal_weekly_totals, recent_signals, expansion_score, summary) and skip the paginated signal list and its aggregates. |
| is_all_markets | boolean | Return the company's entire expansion footprint across ALL markets in one call, rather than a single market. When true, country_code is ignored, the home market is excluded from the signal aggregates when it can be identified, data becomes a company-level rollup (dominant stage, total signals, date span, top expansion score), and markets_summary lists every market. Defaults to false. |
| domain_search_id | string | A unique identifier for the company search operation. |
| is_explain_match | boolean | When true and a query is supplied, summary returns a single AI summary of this company's expansion activity in the current scope (the selected market, or all foreign markets when is_all_markets is true), read against your query and grounded in the company's real signals with [n] citations. |
| transitioned_dates | array | ISO [from, to] date range for the signal/transition window. Takes precedence over window_days when both are supplied. |
| is_include_metadata | boolean | Return the full detail payload. API-key traffic is lean by default: the model block, the confidence figures (stage.confidence on Company Expansion Detail, confidence_score on other_markets[] and on Rankings markers[]) and the established_min / share_of_detected / has_known_office fields are all omitted unless this is true. |
| markets_summary_full | boolean | Include the full ranked market set as markets_summary alongside the capped other_markets list. |
| is_include_established | boolean | Include the established stage (long-standing operators with no active expansion signals). Defaults to false. |
