Compare Company Expansions is a paid API for AI agents from agents.pubrio.com, paid per call via MPP or x402, $0.05/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-11).
Compares the geographic expansion footprint of multiple companies side by side, with optional peer benchmarking for a target company.
Pubrio detects when companies enter new markets and returns the company and people data behind each move. Expansion signals (local hiring, new offices and entities, localized ads, news, cloud hosting) are typed, dated and tied to evidence across 200+ markets, with strong coverage of Asia-Pacific and other markets that Western-built datasets miss. The graph covers 800M+ companies and 560M+ contacts from 50+ local data sources, refreshed daily. Search companies, people, job postings, news, ads and cloud footprints with filters or a plain-language query; look up records by domain, LinkedIn URL or Pubrio id; find lookalike companies and people; read hiring, news, advertising and cloud insights for one company; and reveal verified work emails, personal emails and phone numbers. Each call costs the number of credits listed on its endpoint. This server is a pay-per-use, transparent proxy in front of Pubrio's own API: it handles identity, payment, and proxying. Agents can purchase autonomously or with their human's approval. The complete verified paid surface is listed at /openapi.json, the source of truth for available operations. Each operation here carries its live price in x-payment-info. Use the operations and details here when they meet your needs. Filtered specs contain only matching operations; if you cannot find what you need here, use search or the service catalog. The live catalog at /manifest.json is authoritative for prices and any free included units (prices[].includedUnits) - some meters include free usage per account before any charge, reserved for agents claimed by a human with a verified email.
Returns an array of company-level expansion data entries (one per company requested), including expansion signals typed by category (hiring, offices, ads, cloud, news), confidence scores, stage metadata, and transition dates. Also returns metadata with peer rankings for the seed target, total peers available in the window, and your plan's peer cap.
POSThttps://agents.pubrio.com/expansions/companies/compare?utm_source=zero.xyzUse this endpoint when you need to compare multiple companies' market expansion activities simultaneously rather than analyzing a single company. It is the right choice when competitive benchmarking, peer ranking, or side-by-side footprint analysis is needed — especially when you have a specific target company and want to discover and rank its closest peers by expansion signal volume. Prefer this over single-company expansion insights when the user's goal is relative comparison or ranking across two or more companies.
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| domains | array | List of company domains used for company and people search operations. If we receive a URL such as www.pubrio.com or https://docs.pubrio.com/, the system will convert it to pubrio.com for processing. |
| companies | array | Scope to specific companies by any mix of domain_search_id, company domain, or a company social media profile URL. Domains and URLs resolve to their best-ranked company. |
| seed_target | string | The company in companies to treat as the benchmark target. The rest are ranked by signal volume and confidence, and the top peers are returned in metadata.seeded_peers. It selects from the list you send; it does not find new companies. |
| window_days | integer | Optional. Size of the rolling window in days. Used when an explicit transitioned_dates range is not supplied; if both are omitted, a default window is used. |
| linkedin_urls | array | The fully formed URL of the LinkedIn company profile. URL begin with http and contain linkedin.com/company/ |
| transitioned_dates | array | ISO [from, to] date range for the signal/transition window. Takes precedence over window_days when both are supplied. |
| is_include_metadata | boolean | Return the full detail payload. API-key traffic is lean by default: the model block, the confidence figures (stage.confidence on Company Expansion Detail, confidence_score on other_markets[] and on Rankings markers[]) and the established_min / share_of_detected / has_known_office fields are all omitted unless this is true. |
| is_include_established | boolean | Include the established stage (long-standing operators with no active expansion signals). Defaults to false. |
