How this service works
Returns how many credits a story request would charge without creating a batch. No authentication required. **`flow` values:** - **`auto`** — Same pricing as **POST /v2/story/idea-2-video** (and url/images-2-video): `video_tool`, `scene_count`, `scene_duration`, and optional `audio_option.native_audio`. - **`manual`** — Step-by-step story workflow (storyboard → elements → scenes → videos). Credits are **dynamic** based on storyboard content and `scene_count`; this endpoint does not return a fixed total for manual flows.

Returns a JSON object with `total_credits` (integer, the exact number of credits that would be billed) and `breakdown` (object with step-by-step pricing components). For manual flows, credits are dynamic and the total may not be fixed.

It requires no authentication, making it ideal for pre-flight budget checks, tool comparisons, or user-facing cost previews. Prefer it over submitting a real job just to see the price.
Side effects
- Invalid `flow` value — must be 'auto' or 'manual'
- `scene_count` below 1 returns a validation error
- `duration` or `loop` outside allowed range (1–30 and 1–6 respectively) causes 422
- Unsupported `video_tool` enum value returns error
- Manual flow may return an approximate or non-fixed total_credits due to dynamic pricing
