Choose this endpoint when you need fresh, deduplicated crypto headlines aggregated across the four major outlets (CoinDesk, The Block, Decrypt, Cointelegraph) in a single call. Prefer it over scraping individual news sites when you need cross-source deduplication, ticker-aware search (BTC automatically matches Bitcoin), and fast cached results. The sandbox endpoint at /v1/sandbox/crypto-news allows free testing before committing to paid calls.
Side effects
- Invalid query string (fails regex pattern or exceeds 40 chars) returns a 400 error
- Limit outside 1-40 range returns a 400 validation error
- Upstream feed temporarily unavailable may return partial results or 503
- Payment not included or insufficient USDC returns 402 Payment Required (use /v1/sandbox/crypto-news for free testing)
- No matching headlines for the given query returns an empty array
