Prefer this over the span-fetch endpoint when you don't yet have a specific traceId and need to discover which traces are relevant.

- Invalid date-time format for since/until returns a 400 error
- Unknown service or operation name returns an empty traces array
- Expired or invalid authentication returns 401/402
- Requesting more than the maximum limit (100) may be capped or rejected
- Very broad time ranges may time out or return partial results
