How this service works

Output
Returns an array of objects, one per requested token ID, each containing the token_id, the last trade price as a decimal string (e.g. '0.45'), and the side of the last trade (BUY or SELL). Up to 500 tokens can be returned per call.

Use this endpoint when you need the last traded price (not mid-price or order book quote) for one or many Polymarket prediction market tokens in a single efficient batch call. Prefer this over order book endpoints when you want historical execution price rather than current bid/ask, and when you need to look up prices for many tokens at once (up to 500) without making multiple separate requests.
Side effects
- Exceeding the 500 token ID limit per request results in an error
- Invalid or non-existent token IDs may return missing entries or errors
- Network timeouts if the Polymarket data source is slow or unavailable
- Malformed token ID strings may cause validation errors
- Stale data if no recent trades have occurred for a given token
