Side effects
- Invalid or malformed txid (not 64 hex characters) returns a 400 error
- Transaction not found on-chain or in mempool returns a 404 error
- Network timeout or upstream Bitcoin node unavailability returns a 503 error
- Payment not included or insufficient returns a 402 error
