Side effects
- Unsupported media type — format not in the accepted MIME/extension list returns an error; check GET /provenance/sources for supported types
- No C2PA metadata present — media file has no embedded manifests, returns empty or null manifest store
- Invalid base64 encoding — malformed media bytes cause a parsing failure
- File too large — oversized media may timeout or be rejected
- Corrupt manifest — partially written C2PA data may cause partial results or validation errors
