ChainWard Hires Risk Check API is a paid API for AI agents from api.chainward.ai, paid per call via x402, $0.1/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-10).
Returns a hirer-relationship risk analysis for a BNB Chain agent or address, tracing funding trails to detect shared funders or suspicious links between hirers and the agent owner
Paste any Base or BNB Chain address before you pay or hire it. ChainWard tells you Pay or Hold, and why, from the wallet’s on-chain history. Free.
Returns a JSON object with: the agent owner address, the chain and block timestamp of the check, aggregate hire counts broken down by source contract (e.g. termix_escrow, erc8183_shared), and a per-hirer list each containing the funding trail path (sequence of wallet addresses), number of hires, a verdict (e.g. 'inconclusive', 'shared_funder', 'independent_within_limits'), and a human-readable evidence string explaining what was or wasn't found. Also includes disclaimer notes about the limits of the trail analysis.
GEThttps://api.chainward.ai/api/risk/hires?utm_source=zero.xyzUse this endpoint when you need to understand the funding relationships between the wallets that have hired a specific BNB Chain agent and that agent's owner — particularly to detect wash-hiring, collusion, or fake reputation inflation. Prefer this over a basic address risk check when you want hirer-level trail analysis rather than a simple risk score for a single address. It is especially valuable for agent marketplaces, reputation systems, and due-diligence workflows before committing payment to an agent with an unverified track record.

"method": "Hires are TermiX escrow OrderCreated events naming the agent as provider and shared ERC-8183 JobCreated events naming the owner or agent wallet as provider, on BNB Chain, in a 30-day hire window that starts no earlier than Set and Earn's first block. For each distinct hirer the check follows its first incoming BNB and first incoming stablecoin (USDT, USDC) back to their senders, up to 4 hops, and does the same for the owner and the agent wallet. owner: the hirer is the owner or the agent wallet. owner_funded: the owner or agent wallet is in the hirer's trail. direct_transfer: the hirer and the owner or agent wallet sent each other BNB or a stablecoin at any time, in either direction. shared_funder: the hirer's trail and the owner's (or agent wallet's) trail meet at a wallet that is not a hub or a contract, or the hirer is in the owner's trail. Trails stop at hubs (1,000+ incoming stablecoin transfers of at least $0.01 in 30 days, or 100,000+ sent transactions) and at contracts. inconclusive: the hirer's and the owner's (or agent wallet's) same-kind trails end at the same hub with first funding under 24 hours apart, or no incoming BNB or stablecoin is visible. independent_within_limits: none of these, including trails that end at a hub or a contract (the decode's \"no link found\").",
