Side effects
- Target URL unreachable or returns a network error — response may contain a timeout or connection error
- Target server returns a 4xx or 5xx status — response body and status code are passed through
- Invalid or malformed URL input — request may fail immediately
- Timeout exceeded — if the target server is slow and the timeout parameter is hit
- Payment failure via x402 — call not executed if USDC settlement fails
