How this service works
Liquidations of one coin's perpetual futures: recent forced liquidations from the Gate, Bitfinex, dYdX, Deribit and OKX public feeds, long and short liquidations in USD per venue, the totals and the largest events over 1-24h. Liquidation data for BTC, ETH, SOL and more; Bybit, Hyperliquid and Kraken are listed as not covered (WebSocket only). Data only. Bad input is free; under 2 feeds not charged.
Output
Returns a JSON object with a totals block (count, long_usd, short_usd, total_usd, long_share_pct, partial flag), a per-venue array (covered_hours, window_start, as_of, long_usd, short_usd, count, stale flag), a largest-liquidations list (side, time, price, venue, symbol, size_usd, size_coins), units metadata, and a list of venues not covered. Also includes a see_also pointer to the open-interest endpoint.

Use this endpoint when you need real-time or recent liquidation event data (counts, USD volumes, directional breakdown) for a specific crypto coin across multiple derivatives venues in one call. Prefer this over exchange-specific APIs when cross-venue aggregation and the largest-event list are needed. If you need open interest changes or funding rates instead of liquidations, use the sibling endpoints on the same platform.
Side effects
- Missing required 'coin' query parameter returns a validation error
- Unknown or unsupported coin symbol may return empty venue data or an error
- Hours value outside 1-24 range is rejected by schema validation
- Some venues marked as 'partial' may have incomplete data for the requested window
- Venues listed in venues_missing are not covered for the given coin
- Network or exchange feed outages can cause stale=true flags on specific venues
- Payment failure via x402/USDC on Base will block the request before data is returned
