The attestation token can be independently verified for free at /api/passport/verify.

Choose this endpoint when you need a portable, verifiable, signed attestation of a Solana address's risk profile that can be presented to a third party — not just a raw score. It is preferable over a plain address-profile lookup when you need the Ed25519-signed token for audit trails, counterparty presentation, or protocol onboarding flows. Use it when explainability (signal breakdown) and shareability (the passport token) both matter.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed base58 address returns an error response
- Address with no on-chain history may return minimal signals or insufficient data for scoring
- Attestation token expires after issuance; expired tokens will fail verification at /api/passport/verify
- Payment failure (x402) blocks the request if USDC balance is insufficient
- Rate limiting may occur under high request volume
