How this service works
Takes a website domain, reads the imprint to find the legal entity (DACH sites), then runs the KYB check on it: grade A to F, ALLOW, CAUTION or BLOCK, reasons, sanctions, VAT and domain security. Use to vet a counterparty from its website. Needs an imprint on the site (Germany, Austria, Switzerland); otherwise errors with Not charged, then use kyb-check with the company name.

Returns a JSON object with: overall compliance grade (A–F), decision (ALLOW, CAUTION, or BLOCK), list of reasons, sanctions screening result, VAT number found in imprint, and domain security assessment (e.g. DNSSEC, DMARC).

Use this endpoint when you have a DACH (German, Austrian, or Swiss) company's website domain but not their exact registered legal name. It automatically extracts the legal entity from the imprint page before running the KYB check, saving a manual lookup step. Prefer the separate kyb-check endpoint (with company name) if the site has no imprint or is non-DACH.
Side effects
- No imprint found on the site — returns a 'Not charged' error; caller should fall back to the kyb-check endpoint with a company name
- Domain does not exist or is unreachable — network error returned
- Website is not a DACH site (no German/Austrian/Swiss legal imprint) — likely returns an error or empty result
- Rate limiting or payment failure via x402 protocol
