Output
Returns one of three statuses: 'approved' (the action may proceed), 'pending_human' (a real human reviewer has been notified and must sign off before the agent can continue), or 'denied' (the action is blocked by trust or policy rules).

Choose this endpoint when your agent is about to take a consequential or irreversible action — especially one involving money, identity, or external parties — and you need both automated policy enforcement AND guaranteed human sign-off on borderline or high-risk cases. For a cheap automated-only trust signal without human review, use the /verify endpoint at $0.01 instead.
Side effects
- Missing required query parameters (action, counterparty, or amount) returns an error
- Unrecognized or untrusted counterparty may immediately return denied
- Human reviewer unavailable causes extended pending_human state with no SLA guarantee
- Payment of $15 USDC not made returns 402 Payment Required
- Network timeout leaves action in indeterminate state
