Give an address to get the FID it belongs to (custody address resolves keyless; a verified address needs the optional enrichment), or give a fid or username to get the canonical identity (fid, username, custody address and verified wallets). Crypto-native reconciliation of social identity and wallet.
Output
Returns a canonical Farcaster identity bundle containing the FID (integer), username, custody address, and list of verified Ethereum wallet addresses associated with the resolved identity. Works bidirectionally — supply an address, FID, or username and get the full identity record.

Use this endpoint when you need to bridge Farcaster social identity with on-chain Ethereum wallet data — either to find which Farcaster account owns a wallet address, or to discover all wallets (custody + verified) for a known Farcaster user. Prefer this over generic ENS or on-chain resolvers when the target identity is specifically a Farcaster user.
Side effects
- Address not found on Farcaster — no FID linked to that custody or verified address
- Invalid Ethereum address format — must be 0x-prefixed 40-character hex
- FID not found — the integer provided does not correspond to any registered Farcaster account
- Username not found — the provided username does not exist on Farcaster
- Missing required query parameter — must supply at least one of fid, address, or username
- Payment failure — x402 payment of 0.005 USDC not completed or rejected
