Native multilingual tone/sentiment for a topic from the GDELT Project: a tone histogram (emotional bins with example articles), a coverage-weighted average tone and label, the modal bin, and an optional tone trend over time. GDELT's own cross-language tone (a differentiator over English-only lexicon scoring).

A JSON object containing a tone histogram with emotional bins and representative example articles per bin, a coverage-weighted average tone score and its sentiment label (e.g. negative/positive), the modal bin, and optionally a time-series tone trend over the requested window.

Side effects
- No articles found for query/theme/country combination returns empty histogram
- Invalid country name not mappable to GDELT FIPS code returns error
- Unsupported timespan value returns validation error
- GDELT API unavailability causes upstream timeout
- Both query and theme/country omitted may return error due to missing required filter
