Use this endpoint when you need raw, tick-level recent trade tape data (price, size, time of individual executions) from major CEXes without managing exchange API keys yourself. Ideal for agents doing price discovery, spread analysis, or trade flow monitoring across Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, or Bybit via a single unified paid API. Not suited for OHLCV candle data, order book snapshots, or deep historical data.
Side effects
- Invalid symbol format (must match BASE/QUOTE pattern like BTC/USDT) returns validation error
- Unsupported trading pair on the selected venue returns an exchange-level error
- Bybit spot silently caps results at 60 trades regardless of limit parameter
- Since filter only narrows within the exchange's own publication window — older history is unavailable
- Payment failure via x402 (insufficient USDC on Base Mainnet) blocks the request
- Exchange API downtime causes upstream timeout or empty response
