Use this endpoint when you have previously submitted an asynchronous AskHeurist job and need to poll for its completion. This is the correct follow-up call after initiating a long-running query via AskHeuristAgent. Do not use it to start a new query — only to retrieve the status or result of an already-submitted job.
Side effects
- Invalid or unknown job ID returns an error or empty result
- Job still pending returns next_step instructions rather than final output
- Network timeout or service unavailability causes a failed response
- Malformed job ID format may result in a validation error
