How this service works
Replays a real buy and sell of the token on chain state and tells you if you can get out again: buy_succeeded, sell_succeeded, buy and sell tax in percent, honeypot reason, estimated round-trip cost in percent and USD for amount_usd, plus the pools used. Use before buying an unknown token or in a trading bot. EVM chains are simulated; Solana returns status not_simulated with authority and pool checks. No liquidity returns status no_liquidity. Cost excludes LP fees and gas.

Returns a JSON object indicating whether the simulated buy and sell each succeeded, the buy and sell tax as percentages, the reason the token is flagged as a honeypot (if applicable), the estimated round-trip cost as both a percentage and USD amount for the specified trade size, and the liquidity pools used in the simulation. EVM chains run a full simulation; Solana returns authority and pool checks with status not_simulated. Tokens with no liquidity return status no_liquidity. Cost figures exclude LP fees and gas.

Side effects
- Token has no liquidity — returns status no_liquidity with no simulation results
- Solana tokens return status not_simulated with authority and pool checks only instead of a full simulation
- Invalid or non-existent contract address returns an error or empty response
- Unsupported chain name returns a validation error
- Trade amount outside the 1–100000 USD range may return a validation error
- Network congestion or RPC issues may cause simulation timeouts
