Hospice Facility Search by Location and Quality Rating

Use this endpoint when you need to discover and compare multiple hospice facilities in a geographic market filtered by CMS quality ratings, rather than looking up a single known facility by CCN. Choose this over the single-facility CCN lookup when the user doesn't already have a specific provider in mind and wants to identify candidates meeting quality thresholds.

• No facilities found matching the given filters — returns empty result set
• Invalid state abbreviation or city name — may return 400 or empty results
• ZIP prefix too short or malformed — may return 400 validation error
• Rating range inverted (rating_min > rating_max) — may return 400 or empty results
• Offset beyond total record count — returns empty page
• Rate limit or payment failure — returns 402 payment required
