Link map: fetches one public HTML page server-side and returns up to 100 normalized, deduplicated http/https links with internal/external classification and counts, the final URL, a timestamp and a tamper-evident receipt. Single GET query parameter (url). One page only; no recursive crawling. Check crawl permission first with GET /api/v1/robots-check.
Output
A JSON object containing: the final resolved URL after any redirects, an array of up to 100 normalized and deduplicated links each with a boolean internal/external flag, total link count, internal count, external count, a truncated flag if links exceeded 100, the HTTP status code of the fetched page, an ISO 8601 timestamp of when the page was fetched, a chain_hash for tamper-evidence, and a receipt_id UUID.

Choose this endpoint when you need a server-side, receipted extraction of links from a single public HTML page with internal/external classification and a tamper-evident audit trail. It is ideal when you need provenance or verifiability of the link snapshot (via chain_hash and receipt_id), as opposed to client-side scraping. Use the sibling robots-check endpoint first if crawl permission is uncertain. Do not use for recursive site crawls or sitemap-level link discovery — use the sitemap endpoint for that.
Side effects
- URL is not publicly accessible (private or behind auth) — returns error or empty result
- robots.txt disallows crawling — should pre-check with /api/v1/robots-check
- Page returns non-200 status — status_code reflects actual response, links may be empty
- Page has no links — returns empty links array with zero counts
- URL exceeds 2048 character limit — rejected by input validation
- Malformed or non-HTTP/HTTPS URL — fails schema validation
- Server-side fetch timeout — may return partial result or error
