Use this endpoint when you need normalized, cross-venue perpetual funding rate data aggregated in a single call. It is preferable to querying individual exchange APIs separately because it normalizes all rates to hourly and APR formats, covers 5 venues simultaneously, and is already aggregated and cached. Choose this over the arbitrage scanner sibling when you want raw rate data rather than pre-computed spread opportunities.
Side effects
- Unknown coin symbol returns empty rates array or error
- Invalid venue parameter ignored or returns error
- Cache may return data up to 60 seconds stale
- Payment failure (x402) if USDC balance insufficient — returns 402 Payment Required
- Venue API downtime may result in missing entries for that venue in the response
