Before you scrape a job posting, Shopify or HTML product page, or eBay item, POST the specific URL you already have and Livecheck returns live, closed, or unknown plus title and signals (apply form, in-stock, sold-out, 404); not a search engine.
Output
Returns a status of 'live', 'closed', or 'unknown' for the submitted URL, along with the page title and a set of boolean signals including whether an apply form was found, whether the item is in-stock, whether a sold-out indicator was detected, and whether the page returned a 404.

It is ideal as a pre-scrape gate in agentic pipelines that process job listings or e-commerce items at scale. Do not use it if you need to search for URLs — you must supply the exact URL yourself.
Side effects
- URL is a search-results page rather than a specific item page — endpoint is not a search engine and will return unknown or incorrect results
- Target URL is behind a login wall or CAPTCHA and cannot be fetched, returning unknown status
- Network timeout or target server unreachable, resulting in unknown status
- Malformed or non-absolute URL provided, causing a validation error
- Rate limiting or bot detection on the target site may cause inconsistent signals
