How this service works
Sky (MakerDAO) savings rates and peg: sUSDS and sDAI savings APY and TVL on Ethereum (DefiLlama yields), DAI and USDS USD price and depeg %, and circulating supply. Vault collateralization is not in these sources and is not reported.
Output
A JSON object containing: DAI and USDS current USD prices, depeg percentage vs $1 peg, circulating supply in USD, prior-day circulating supply; plus an array of savings pools (sUSDS, sDAI) with APY percentages and TVL in USD; a data source URL and a timestamp of when the data was checked.
Example use cases
Stablecoin peg health alert
“Check if DAI or USDS has depegged by more than 0.1% from $1 and tell me the current price and depeg percentage for both.”
DeFi savings rate comparison
“What savings APY am I getting if I hold sDAI versus sUSDS right now, and how much TVL is in each pool?”
MakerDAO circulating supply tracking
“How much DAI and USDS is currently in circulation, and how has each changed since yesterday?”

Endpoint
GEThttps://api.chainmarket-api.workers.dev/api/crypto/makerdao-vault-status?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you need real-time MakerDAO-specific stablecoin data — DAI and USDS peg status, circulating supply, or Sky Protocol savings yields — without requiring an API key or signup. Ideal for agents monitoring DeFi stablecoin health, alerting on depeg events, or comparing sDAI/sUSDS savings rates. Prefer this over generic crypto price APIs when you specifically need depeg delta, circulating supply changes, or MakerDAO savings pool APY and TVL in a single call.
Side effects
- Upstream DeFiLlama API unavailable — stale or no data returned
- Network timeout from Cloudflare Worker — retry after brief wait
- Payment failure on x402 — call not charged, retry with sufficient USDC balance
- Rate limiting or temporary upstream data gap — checkedAt timestamp may be stale
